Rat Deoxyribonuclease-1/DNASE1 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Deoxyribonuclease-1 (DNASE1) in rat samples. It uses a double-antibody sandwich format and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 0.234 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.391-25 ng/mL. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months. The procedure involves equilibrating reagents to room temperature, loading standards and samples, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-Streptavidin incubation for 30 minutes, TMB substrate development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding the stop solution. Reported recovery in serum averages 95% (range 86-104%), EDTA plasma averages 91% (range 87-98%), and heparin plasma averages 92% (range 85-97%). The kit supports research into DNA degradation, genomic integrity, cell death, and related disease mechanisms in rat models.
