Rat D-amino-acid oxidase/DAO ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the detection of D-amino-acid oxidase (DAO) in rat samples. The assay uses a colorimetric, double-antibody sandwich format with reactivity specific to rat targets.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit provides a sensitivity of 1.875 ng/mL and a standard range of 3.125–200 ng/mL, with shelf life of 12 months at 2–8°C storage.

Reported linearity at dilutions 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 spans 86–100%, 90–104%, and 91–102% for serum (n=5); 93–101%, 85–97%, and 82–92% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 80–98%, 80–100%, and 81–96% for heparin plasma (n=5). Average recovery is 94% for serum, 98% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma. The workflow involves a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, a 60-minute detection antibody step, a 30-minute HRP-Streptavidin step, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm.
