Rat Cytovillin/CVL ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of Cytovillin (CVL) in rat samples. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format, with an antibody specific to the target pre-coated onto the wells of a microplate. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Documented synonyms for the target include CVL, EZR, Ezrin, p81, Cytovillin, Villin-2, and VIL2.

The assay has a stated working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL. Detection uses a biotinylated detection antibody followed by HRP-conjugated Streptavidin and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. The kit is shipped on ice packs and components are stored at 2-8°C, with a stated expiry of 12 months.

Reported linearity for serum (n=5) is 91-105% at a 1:2 dilution, 83-96% at 1:4, and 80-97% at 1:8. EDTA plasma shows 86-101%, 87-101%, and 83-96% across the same dilutions, and heparin plasma shows 90-102%, 83-101%, and 83-100%. Spike-and-recovery performance is reported at 87-102% (average 94%) for serum, 85-105% (average 93%) for EDTA plasma, and 85-100% (average 92%) for heparin plasma. For research use only.
