Rat Cytochrome P450 1A2/Cyp1a2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Rat Cytochrome P450 1A2/Cyp1a2 ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA, double antibody assay designed for the accurate detection of CYP1A2 levels in rat samples. Cytochrome P450 1A2 is an enzyme involved in the metabolism of various xenobiotics and drugs in the liver. Its expression levels can be influenced by environmental toxins, diet, and genetic variations, making it a valuable biomarker for studying drug metabolism and toxicity.

The kit is intended for use with rat serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. It has a reported sensitivity of 0.094ng/ml and a detection range of 0.156-10ng/ml. Recovery rates were 86-104% in serum (average 97%), 86-101% in EDTA plasma (average 94%), and 88-98% in UFH plasma (average 92%). Linearity was demonstrated across serial dilutions in serum (86-102%, 85-104%, 90-104%), EDTA plasma (82-100%, 84-101%, 87-95%), and UFH plasma (82-100%, 90-100%, 82-94%). The assay shows an intra-assay CV <8% and inter-assay CV <10%. The kit should be stored at 4°C for 6 months and is for research use only.
