Rat Cystatin-related protein 1/Andpro ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the quantitative detection of cystatin-related protein 1/Andpro in rat samples. It uses a double antibody method with colorimetric detection and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.313–20 ng/mL, with reagents stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and the TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples and controls onto the pre-coated plate and incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes, then adding a biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, and TMB for 10–20 minutes in the dark. Absorbance is read at 450 nm immediately after adding stop solution.

Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions for serum (n=5) is 86–101%, 84–101% and 84–100%; for EDTA plasma (n=5) 88–102%, 82–101% and 84–98%; and for heparin plasma (n=5) 91–100%, 82–89% and 82–96%. Recovery ranges are 85–104% (average 93%) for serum, 87–105% (average 95%) for EDTA plasma, and 88–100% (average 95%) for heparin plasma.
