Rat Cystathionine Gamma Lyase (CSE) ELISA Kit

Quantify rat cystathionine gamma-lyase (CSE) in tissue-derived samples with this Assay Genie research-use-only ELISA kit. CSE is the pyridoxal-5′-phosphate-dependent enzyme that cleaves cystathionine into cysteine, α-ketobutyrate, and ammonia, and it is also a major endogenous source of the signaling molecule hydrogen sulfide (H₂S). These dual roles place CSE at the center of transsulfuration-pathway research and make it a frequent target in cardiovascular, neurochemical, and inflammation studies.

The kit is supplied as a complete 96-assay package on a microplate and includes a pre-coated plate, rat CSE standard curve reagents, detection antibody, enzyme conjugate, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution, and a detailed protocol insert. Samples are typically tissue homogenates prepared in the recommended extraction buffer, with results read on a standard microplate reader.
