Rat CYSLTR2/Cysteinyl Leukotriene Receptor 2 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Cysteinyl Leukotriene Receptor 2 (CysLTR2) in rat samples. The colorimetric assay accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Reported sensitivity is 0.188 ng/mL with an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Spiked recovery in serum (n=5) averaged 95% (range 86–99%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 97% (range 90–103%), and in Heparin plasma (n=5) 93% (range 86–100%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions was 87–105%, 82–101%, 86–99% for serum; 87–98%, 87–101%, 83–97% for EDTA plasma; and 85–99%, 89–100%, 84–94% for Heparin plasma.

CysLTR2 is described as a key receptor in the inflammatory response, with roles in allergic reactions, asthma, and other inflammatory conditions. The protocol uses a pre-coated plate with primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes, TMB substrate in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance read at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
