Rat CYP27B1 ELISA Kit

Designed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of CYP27B1 in rat samples, this colorimetric Sandwich ELISA uses a double-antibody format. The kit is reactive with rat and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. CYP27B1 is a key enzyme in vitamin D metabolism, contributing to calcium homeostasis and bone health, and its dysregulation has been associated with osteoporosis, autoimmune disorders, and certain cancers.

Reported sensitivity is 0.375 ng/mL with an assay range of 0.625–40 ng/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) is 94–105% at 1:2, 85–100% at 1:4, and 81–92% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) shows 95–104%, 89–93%, and 80–100% at the same dilutions, and heparin plasma (n=5) shows 89–105%, 89–97%, and 80–100%. Recovery averages 97% in serum (range 92–104%), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 89–104%), and 96% in heparin plasma (range 85–105%).

The protocol uses a TMB substrate read at 450 nm, with primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody for 60 minutes, and HRP-Streptavidin for 30 minutes. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
