Rat Cyclophilin A (CYPA) ELISA Kit

Cyclophilin A (CYPA), an 18 kDa peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) and the principal intracellular receptor for cyclosporine A, can be quantified in rat-derived specimens using the Assay Genie Rat Cyclophilin A (CYPA) ELISA Kit, a colorimetric microplate immunoassay supplied with reagents for 96 assays. CYPA contributes to protein folding, intracellular trafficking, and inflammatory signaling, and is studied in experimental models of rheumatoid arthritis, sepsis, atherosclerosis, and vascular injury.

The kit accommodates tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernatants, and individual plasma or serum aliquots prepared from rat sources, and is intended for research use only. Each microplate is supplied with reagents for standard curve generation, sample dilution, and quantitative read-out on a standard plate reader.

Investigators apply this kit to track extracellular CYPA release during oxidative stress, evaluate cytokine responses in innate immunity, monitor PPIA expression in cardiac and vascular disease models, and study cyclophilin-dependent interactions in cellular systems. It also supports work on the cyclophilin–calcineurin–NFAT axis, secretory cyclophilin A as a damage-associated molecular pattern, and viral protein interactions involving the Gag polyprotein in host cells.
