Rat Cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie Rat Cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) ELISA Kit is a Competitive ELISA designed for the sensitive and accurate measurement of cGMP in serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates, with additional supported sample types including urine, cerebrospinal fluid, cell culture supernatant, cell lysates, tissue lysates, and breast milk. Detection is colorimetric, and the assay covers a measuring range of 15.6–1000 pg/mL. The kit is intended for research use only.

cGMP is described as a key signalling molecule involved in smooth muscle relaxation, neurotransmission, and cell growth, and has been linked in the literature to conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, and erectile dysfunction. The kit is presented as offering high specificity and reproducibility with an easy-to-use protocol.

Equipment required but not supplied includes a microplate reader with a 450 nm filter, multichannel pipette, incubator, deionised or distilled water, and absorbent paper.
