Rat CXCL6/GCP-2 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of rat CXCL6/GCP-2 in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.

The assay has a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Recovery in serum (n = 5) is 91-105% with a 98% average; EDTA plasma (n = 5) and heparin plasma (n = 5) recoveries average 91% and 95% respectively. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported within 83-105% for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Components are stored at 2-8°C, and the kit is stable for 12 months under those conditions. The lyophilized standard and microplate strips may alternatively be stored at -20°C for 12 months.
