Description

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is specifically designed for the quantitative detection of CXCL10 (IP-10) levels in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. CXCL10 (IP-10) is a chemokine involved in the inflammatory response and immune regulation, playing a key role in recruiting immune cells to sites of infection or inflammation. It has been implicated in various autoimmune diseases and viral infections, making monitoring of CXCL10 levels valuable for studying immune responses, disease pathology, and developing potential therapeutic interventions.

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method with a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. The protocol involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, followed by primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) incubation at 37°C for 30 minutes, and TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes. After adding stop solution, absorbance is measured at 450 nm. Components are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.

Validated linearity at 1:2 dilution spans 88-105% for serum, 85-97% for EDTA plasma, and 82-94% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 87-95% (average 91%) for serum, 89-105% (average 100%) for EDTA plasma, and 89-97% (average 94%) for heparin plasma.
