Rat CTGF/Connective tissue growth factor ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie using a colorimetric double antibody method for the quantitative detection of connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in rat serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatants. The kit is intended for research use only.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 18.75pg/ml and an assay range of 31.25-2000pg/ml. Recovery was 85-102% (average 95%) in serum (n=5), 85-97% (average 91%) in EDTA plasma (n=5), and 87-103% (average 95%) in UFH plasma (n=5). Intra-assay CV is <8% and inter-assay CV is <10%. The kit is stored at 4°C for 6 months.

CTGF is a key protein involved in the regulation of connective tissue growth and repair processes, playing a crucial role in fibrosis, wound healing, and tissue remodeling, making it a useful biomarker for studying these conditions and developing therapeutic interventions.
