Rat CSNK2A2/Casein Kinase 2 alpha 2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA for the quantitative measurement of CSNK2A2 (Casein Kinase 2 alpha 2) in rat-derived samples. The double-antibody sandwich format uses colorimetric detection and is validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid sample types. CSNK2A2 is described as a protein involved in cell growth, cell cycle regulation and apoptosis, with dysregulation implicated in cancer, neurodegenerative diseases and inflammatory disorders, making it a relevant biomarker for studying disease pathogenesis and the development of targeted treatments.

According to the manufacturer's specification, the assay has a sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported at 89–103%, 87–103% and 88–104% in serum; 89–101%, 84–97% and 90–96% in EDTA plasma; and 89–97%, 80–96% and 89–96% in heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery values are 86–102% in serum (average 92%), 88–101% in EDTA plasma (average 98%) and 88–100% in heparin plasma (average 92%). Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and the TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding the stop solution.
