Rat cPLA2/Cytosolic phospholipase A2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for detecting levels of cytosolic phospholipase A2 (cPLA2) in rat samples using a colorimetric readout. The kit is reactive with rat and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, supporting research into phospholipid metabolism, inflammation, cell signaling and related disease areas. It is based on a double-antibody sandwich format that uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin and TMB substrate. Components should be stored at 2–8°C, and the kit is reported to remain stable for 12 months under these conditions. A typical run combines primary incubation, detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding and TMB colour development before the reaction is stopped and the plate is read.

Reported linearity in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions falls between 82% and 105%. Spike recovery averages 91% in serum, 98% in EDTA plasma and 97% in heparin plasma.
