Rat Copeptin PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0125)

The Assay Genie rat copeptin competitive immunoassay provides quantitative measurement of endogenous copeptin in plasma, serum, and cell culture supernatant matrices. Copeptin is the 39-amino-acid C-terminal glycopeptide of prepro-vasopressin and is released in equimolar amounts with arginine vasopressin, making it a stable surrogate marker for AVP secretion in studies of osmoregulation, cardiovascular stress response, sepsis prognosis, and renal function in rat models. This assay is widely applied in research on diabetes insipidus, polyuria-polydipsia screening, SIADH, and hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis activation. The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection reagent, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, lyophilized standards, assay buffer, wash concentrate, and substrate solution, with a typical sample volume of 50 uL per well. Unopened kit components are stored at 4 degrees C, while reconstituted standards should be aliquoted and kept frozen at -20 degrees C to preserve immunoreactivity across limited freeze-thaw cycles.
