Rat Copeptin (CPP) ELISA Kit

A quantitative immunoassay from Assay Genie for measuring copeptin, the C-terminal segment of prepro-vasopressin, in rat research samples. Copeptin is co-secreted in equimolar amounts with arginine vasopressin (AVP) from the posterior pituitary and serves as a stable surrogate marker for circulating vasopressin, making it valuable for studies of water balance, osmotic regulation, cardiovascular function, and stress responses.

Designed for in vitro research use only, the kit supports investigations of diabetes insipidus, syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH), sepsis, heart failure, and renal dysfunction in rat models.
