Rat Complement C4/C4 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Rat Complement C4/C4 ELISA Kit is a sandwich double-antibody enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the quantitative measurement of Complement C4 in rat samples. The kit uses a colorimetric detection method and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples as input.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Linearity has been characterised for serum (88–104% at 1:2, 83–95% at 1:4, 82–94% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (85–102%, 85–96%, 82–100%), and heparin plasma (85–98%, 88–101%, 84–100%). Recovery averages are 98% for serum (range 91–105%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 89–104%), and 95% for heparin plasma (range 92–103%). The workflow uses a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
