Rat Collagen Type XII (COL12) ELISA Kit

The Assay Genie immunoassay enables quantitative measurement of Collagen Type XII in rat-derived specimens, supporting research into a FACIT (Fibril-Associated Collagen with Interrupted Triple helices) family member that associates with the surface of type I and type II collagen fibrils in dense connective tissues.

Rat Collagen Type XII has been studied in tendon, ligament, dermis, and cartilage matrix assembly and is used as a marker of interest in fibrosis models, wound healing research, and connective tissue remodeling studies.

The kit provides a colorimetric read-out compatible with standard microplate instrumentation and includes a strip plate together with the buffers and reagents required to perform the assay. Intended for research use only; in vitro applications.
