Collagen Type III Alpha 1 is a fibrillar collagen that assembles into heterotypic fibrils with type I collagen in reticular fibers, vascular walls, and interstitial stroma. In rats, COL3a1 expression is widely applied as a molecular readout in carbon tetrachloride-induced hepatic fibrosis, bleomycin-driven pulmonary fibrosis, post-infarction cardiac remodeling, and full-thickness wound healing studies.

Each kit contains pre-coated microplate strips, biotinylated detection antibody, calibrated protein standards, and streptavidin-HRP conjugate. The assay accepts serum samples, plasma samples, cell culture supernatant, and tissue homogenate preparations, making it compatible with both in vivo and in vitro experimental workflows.
