Rat Collagen I alpha 1 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of Collagen I alpha 1 in rat samples. Built on a double-antibody sandwich format, the assay uses a pre-coated capture antibody, a biotin-conjugated detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin and a TMB substrate, with the OD absorbance read at 450nm in a microplate reader.

Reactive with rat, the kit has been validated for serum and plasma, and is also suitable for a range of other biological fluids including cell culture supernatant and tissue homogenates. Performance specifications include a detection range of 0.313-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.188ng/mL. The kit is also referenced under the aliases COL-1α1 and COL1α1, corresponding to Uniprot entry P02454.
