Rat Coenzyme Q-binding protein COQ10 homolog B, mitochondrial ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative detection of rat Coenzyme Q-binding protein COQ10 homolog B, mitochondrial (also referred to as Coq10b). The double-antibody sandwich format is intended for research applications investigating COQ10, a protein linked to mitochondrial function, energy production, and cellular metabolism, with dysregulation associated with neurodegenerative and cardiovascular conditions.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a detection range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Compatible sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Kit components are stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months. The protocol involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, a 90-minute primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labelled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes at 37°C, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm following addition of stop solution.

Reported linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is 90–103%, 84–97%, and 82–97% for serum; 90–99%, 85–99%, and 89–94% for EDTA plasma; and 85–102%, 82–96%, and 89–95% for heparin plasma (n = 5 each). Recovery ranges are 87–104% with an average of 96% for serum, 89–104% with an average of 98% for EDTA plasma, and 87–103% with an average of 93% for heparin plasma.
