Rat CLDN3/Claudin-3 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Claudin-3 (CLDN3) in rat samples using a double-antibody detection approach. The kit is intended for research use and supports studies of tight junction integrity in epithelial and endothelial cells, with relevance to cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and autoimmune disorders.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. Performance has been characterised by linearity testing on serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions, with recoveries ranging from 88–105% (serum), 85–99% (EDTA plasma) and 90–104% (heparin plasma).

The procedure uses a biotin-labelled detection antibody followed by HRP-Streptavidin binding, TMB substrate development, and absorbance reading at 450 nm.
