Rat Citrate Synthase (CS) ELISA Kit

Citrate synthase is a key mitochondrial matrix enzyme (~48 kDa homodimer) widely used as a quantitative marker of mitochondrial content in metabolic and exercise physiology research. This Assay Genie kit applies a 50 uL sample volume per well and uses a rat-specific capture antibody with no significant cross-reactivity reported against mouse or human citrate synthase. It supports studies of mitochondrial biogenesis, oxidative capacity, and TCA cycle flux in fresh-frozen tissue homogenates and isolated mitochondria from rat skeletal muscle, liver, and cardiac tissue. The microplate arrives in a sealed foil pouch; store at 4°C protected from light, and the kit is intended for in vitro research use only.
