Rat Cholecystokinin A Receptor/CCKAR ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of Cholecystokinin A Receptor (CCKAR) in rat samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. CCKAR is a receptor involved in the regulation of physiological processes including digestion, satiety and stress response, and its dysregulation has been associated in published research with conditions such as obesity, eating disorders and gastrointestinal disorders.

Linearity in serum (n=5) is 92-100% at 1:2, 88-105% at 1:4 and 89-105% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) is 86-99%, 82-90% and 87-96% at the same dilutions; heparin plasma (n=5) is 84-100%, 87-99% and 80-104%. Average recovery is 98% for serum (range 85-100%), 97% for EDTA plasma (range 89-100%) and 95% for heparin plasma (range 88-104%). The workflow involves primary incubation at 37°C, biotinylated detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm.
