Rat CGRP-I PharmaGenie ELISA Kit (SBRS0123)

This competitive immunoassay from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of rat α-CGRP (calcitonin gene-related peptide I), a 37-amino acid neuropeptide central to trigeminovascular pain pathways, neurogenic inflammation, and peripheral vasodilatory responses. The assay supports research into migraine mechanisms, neuropathic pain models, and cardiovascular pharmacology, accepting cell culture supernatant, citrated plasma, and clotted serum. Each microplate delivers 96 assays using a 50 µL sample volume per well, with a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP conjugate driving the absorbance-based readout. Assay Genie calibrates the standard curve against recombinant rat α-CGRP, with negligible cross-reactivity reported for the structurally related peptides amylin, calcitonin, and adrenomedullin.
