Rat CD68/Macrosialin ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the precise quantification of CD68 (Macrosialin) in rat samples, with a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a detection range of 0.781-50 ng/mL. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Validated linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 82-99%, 83-97% and 80-93% for serum (n=5); 86-105%, 91-104% and 82-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 86-102%, 89-104% and 90-104% for heparin plasma (n=5). Recovery averages 92% (86-105%) in serum, 97% (88-105%) in EDTA plasma, and 94% (87-105%) in heparin plasma. Absorbance is read at 450 nm after TMB substrate development.

CD68 is a macrophage marker linked to immune and inflammatory responses, making the kit suitable for research on inflammatory diseases, infections, and cancer, as well as for evaluating therapeutic interventions. Kit components are stored at 2-8°C, with select items kept at -20°C, for up to 12 months.
