Rat CD44 antigen (Cd44) ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of rat CD44 antigen, this sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie delivers reproducible results across a defined analytical range. The colorimetric assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, and shows specificity for both natural and recombinant rat CD44 antigen.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.166ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 4.7% and inter-assay precision is 8.2%. Linearity has been evaluated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, with recoveries of 82-119% in serum, 90-117% in EDTA plasma, and 90-120% in heparin plasma. Average recovery is 93% in serum (range 87-99%) and 95% in plasma (range 89-101%). The kit is for research use only.

CD44 is a cell surface glycoprotein that functions as a receptor for hyaluronic acid (HA), mediating cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions.
