Rat Cd4 ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of CD4 in rat samples using a colorimetric, double-antibody detection method. The assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and is positioned for immunology research, including studies of T cell activation, infectious disease, and autoimmune models.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25-2000 pg/mL. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions is reported as 87-102% for serum, 82-101% for EDTA plasma, and 81-99% for heparin plasma. Recovery is reported as 91-105% across sample types, with averages between 97-99%. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, with selected components also suitable for storage at -20°C.

The workflow includes primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB substrate color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm following stop solution addition.
