Rat CCL27/CTACK ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit designed for the quantitative measurement of CCL27 (also known as Cutaneous T-cell Attracting Chemokine, CTACK) in rat samples. The colorimetric assay is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The kit provides a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a measuring range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL. The procedure uses a pre-coated plate, a biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC), and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. Standard incubation steps are carried out at 37°C. Components should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months.

Recovery has been demonstrated in serum (range 87–102%, average 93%), EDTA plasma (94–102%, average 97%), and heparin plasma (85–100%, average 96%). Linearity for dilutions 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 was 89–105% / 85–92% / 88–101% for serum, 84–100% / 84–100% / 84–97% for EDTA plasma, and 80–92% / 87–98% / 84–98% for heparin plasma (n = 5 each). CCL27 attracts immune cells to the skin and is implicated in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and allergic skin reactions, making the kit a useful biomarker tool for research in immune and skin-related disorders.
