Rat CCL25/TECK ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie, configured in double-antibody format with colorimetric detection, is designed for the precise measurement of CCL25 (Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 25), also known as TECK (Thymus-expressed chemokine), in rat-derived samples. The assay is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Linearity in serum (n = 5) is 86–104% at 1:2, 90–103% at 1:4 and 88–103% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n = 5) is 86–105%, 85–103% and 87–96%; and heparin plasma (n = 5) is 82–100%, 81–94% and 84–99%. Recovery averages 94% (range 89–105%) in serum, 99% (96–103%) in EDTA plasma and 96% (87–102%) in heparin plasma.

The protocol involves equilibrating reagents, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB substrate incubation in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution addition. CCL25 is a chemokine involved in immune cell migration to the thymus and small intestine, with dysregulation linked to inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases and cancer, making it a relevant biomarker for rat-model research. Reagents should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
