Rat CCL24/Eotaxin-2/MPIF2 ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody assay from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of rat CCL24 (also known as Eotaxin-2 or MPIF2). Acceptable sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. CCL24 is a chemokine involved in the recruitment and activation of eosinophils, with elevated levels implicated in asthma, atopic dermatitis, and other allergic conditions, making it a useful biomarker for studying inflammatory and immune responses in rat models.

The assay has a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. The kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The protocol proceeds through reagent and plate preparation, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after stop solution.
