Rat Caspase 3 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a Sandwich ELISA, Double Antibody kit for the quantitative detection of caspase-3 in rat samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Using a colorimetric detection method, the kit is designed for researchers studying apoptosis and cell death pathways in rats.

Performance specifications include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Storage is 2–8°C for 12 months. Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 is reported as 91–98%, 82–98%, and 80–99% for serum; 85–102%, 86–98%, and 81–98% for EDTA plasma; and 86–104%, 87–100%, and 84–96% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges are 88–97% for serum, 90–103% for EDTA plasma, and 85–102% for heparin plasma, with average recoveries of 93%, 96%, and 92% respectively. The protocol involves reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody incubation for 60 minutes, HRP-streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development for 10–20 minutes in the dark, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after addition of stop solution.
