Rat Calretinin ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Rat Calretinin ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA, double-antibody assay intended for the quantitative measurement of calretinin in rat samples. Calretinin (CALB2) is a calcium-binding protein used as an indicator of specific neurons and neuroendocrine cells, and the kit supports research in neuroscience, neurology, and developmental biology by enabling quantification in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The colorimetric assay is read at 450 nm and offers a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL with a working range of 0.781-50 ng/mL. Reagents are stored at 2-8°C and remain stable for 12 months. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8, while recovery testing reports average values of 96% (serum), 92% (EDTA plasma), and 95% (heparin plasma).
