Rat Calbindin (CALB) ELISA Kit

Calbindin-D28k (CALB1) is a vitamin D-dependent calcium-binding protein that buffers intracellular calcium, with strong expression in cerebellar Purkinje cells, renal distal tubules, and pancreatic beta cells. This Assay Genie ELISA enables quantitative measurement of Calbindin in rat specimens, supporting neuroscience research on cerebellar circuitry, models of neurodegeneration, and investigations of calcium homeostasis in renal and endocrine tissues. The kit contains a pre-coated microplate, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant Calbindin standards, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, TMB substrate, wash buffer, and stop solution in quantities sufficient for the plate format. Store unopened reagents refrigerated and protect the TMB substrate from light; allow all components to equilibrate to room temperature before running the assay.
