Rat Cadherin-6 (Cdh6) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of Cadherin-6 in rat samples. The kit detects both natural and recombinant rat Cadherin-6 and has a working detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.152ng/mL. Reported precision values include an intra-assay CV of 3.8% and an inter-assay CV of 7.1%.

The kit accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions (1:2 to 1:16) in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with recovery averaging 88% for serum (range 82-94%) and 90% for plasma (range 84-96%). Cadherin-6 (UniProt P55280, molecular weight 88,341 Da) is a calcium-dependent cell adhesion protein located at the cell membrane as a single-pass type I membrane protein, and is also known by the synonyms Kidney cadherin and K-cadherin.
