Rat C-X-C motif chemokine 3 (Cxcl3) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables precise measurement of rat C-X-C motif chemokine 3 (CXCL3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The chemokine is also known as Cytokine-induced neutrophil chemoattractant 2 / Macrophage inflammatory protein 2-alpha/beta (CINC-2, MIP2-alpha/beta) and acts as a ligand for CXCR2, with chemotactic activity for neutrophils and a documented role in inflammation and immune response. Detection is colorimetric and the assay shows specificity for natural and recombinant rat C-X-C motif chemokine 3.

The detection range spans 0.156-10ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.088ng/mL. Reported precision is an intra-assay CV of 4.4% and an inter-assay CV of 8.3%. Linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is 86-98% to 107-116% for serum, 108-117% to 83-92% for EDTA plasma, and 102-110% to 109-121% for heparin plasma. Recovery is 95% (range 89-101%) in serum and 97% (range 91-103%) in plasma. The target is a secreted protein investigated in the immunology field, with reported roles in neutrophil chemotaxis, inflammatory response, and response to lipopolysaccharide.

Kit components include a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilized standard, sample diluent, assay diluents A and B, detection reagents A and B, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealer.
