Rat C-type natriuretic/NPPC ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this competitive ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of C-type natriuretic peptide (NPPC) in rat samples including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The microplate is pre-coated with CNP, and detection relies on a biotinylated antibody whose binding is competed by CNP present in the sample, followed by HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate development, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and an assay range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Components are stored at 2-8°C as specified in the technical manual. The kit also includes a validated Bradford Reagent for total protein quantification to support sample normalization. It is intended for research use only.

Reported linearity across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples (n=10) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions falls within broad percentage ranges (e.g., serum 86-105%), with corresponding spike-recovery averages of 96% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 97% for heparin plasma.
