Rat C-C motif chemokine 2 (Ccl2) ELISA Kit

A colourimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of rat C-C motif chemokine 2 (CCL2), also known as monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), in rat serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay provides a detection range of 15.6-1000pg/mL and a sensitivity of 7.83pg/mL, with reported precision values of 5.1% intra-assay CV and 9.6% inter-assay CV.

Linearity has been evaluated in serum (110-120% at 1:2, 83-96% at 1:4, 106-116% at 1:8, 105-114% at 1:16), EDTA plasma (110-120% at 1:2, 100-111% at 1:4, 84-97% at 1:8, 89-98% at 1:16) and heparin plasma (110-119% at 1:2, 81-91% at 1:4, 83-93% at 1:8, 92-104% at 1:16). Recovery is reported as 101% (range 95-107%) for serum and 103% (range 97-109%) for plasma. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant rat CCL2 and is intended for research use only.
