Rat BMP4 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit is designed for the accurate quantification of Bone morphogenetic protein 4 (BMP4) levels in rat-derived samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody sandwich format with colorimetric detection supports reproducible measurement of BMP4, a signaling molecule implicated in embryonic development, bone formation, and tissue regeneration, with dysregulation linked to cancer, osteoporosis, and developmental disorders.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL and a detection range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Dilutional linearity at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 was 85–103%, 84–97% and 87–95% for serum; 86–103%, 90–98% and 80–91% for EDTA plasma; and 85–103%, 82–100% and 83–95% for heparin plasma. Average recovery was 95% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma and 96% for heparin plasma. Reagents are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, protected from direct light where applicable.
