This PharmaGenie immunoassay from Assay Genie is calibrated for the quantification of basic Fibroblast Growth Factor (bFGF, also known as FGF-2), an 18 kDa heparin-binding mitogen implicated in angiogenesis, wound healing, and stem cell maintenance. The kit provides a microplate pre-coated with a rat-specific capture antibody, and detection relies on a biotinylated secondary antibody paired with streptavidin-HRP.
