Released from platelet alpha-granules during activation, beta-Thromboglobulin (β-TG, also known as CXCL7) is quantified by Assay Genie's rat ELISA kit as a circulating marker of platelet degranulation. Elevated levels of this small platelet-derived chemokine indicate active release and are routinely measured in cardiovascular, hematology, and thrombosis research.
The kit provides all reagents in individual vials for use on a standard microplate, with a colorimetric readout based on quantitative immunoassay chemistry. Researchers studying experimental models of atherosclerosis, vascular injury, or platelet dysfunction rely on this measurement to monitor beta-TG release kinetics over time. Store kit components refrigerated; protect from light. For research use only.
