Rat beta Arrestin-2  (Beta Arrestin-2) ELISA kit (RTFI01427)

Assay Genie offers a Sandwich ELISA kit designed for the quantitative detection of beta-arrestin-2 in rat samples. The kit uses a double-antibody format and is validated for use with serum, plasma, and tissue lysate samples. According to manufacturer data, sensitivity is reported at less than 18.75 pg/mL, with a measuring range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is CV <8% and inter-assay precision is CV <10%.

Spike-and-recovery performance in rat matrices is documented: serum (n=5) shows a recovery range of 87–105% with an average of 95%, EDTA plasma (n=5) 88–101% (average 94%), and heparin plasma (n=5) 92–104% (average 97%). Linearity was assessed by serial dilution of spiked samples, with serum (n=5) ranging 85–104% at 1:2, 87–94% at 1:4, and 90–105% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n=5) at 90–100%, 90–101%, and 83–93%; and UFH plasma (n=5) at 80–100%, 81–96%, and 87–92% across the same dilutions.

The assay is colorimetric and the optical density is read at 450 nm after addition of stop solution. Reagents should be stored at 4°C for 6 months. The product is intended for research use only. Synonyms include Beta-arrestin-2, Arrestin beta-2, and Arrb2; the associated Uniprot accession is P29067.
