Beta-arrestin-1 is a multifunctional scaffolding protein best known for terminating G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling and recruiting components of the clathrin-mediated endocytic machinery, but it also acts as a signal transducer in its own right, activating MAPK, PI3K/Akt, and NF-kB cascades independent of G proteins.

This rat-specific kit is intended for research use only and supports studies in cardiovascular pharmacology, neurobiology, and metabolic disease models where GPCR desensitization pathways are under investigation.
