Rat Beta actin ELISA Kit

Designed for the precise measurement of beta-actin levels in rat samples, this sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie employs a double antibody detection method. The assay is reactive with rat samples and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, urine, cerebrospinal fluid, cell lysates, tissue homogenates, tissue lysates, and breast milk. Beta-actin is a fundamental protein that plays a key role in maintaining the structural integrity of cells and is involved in processes such as cell movement and division. Changes in beta-actin levels have been linked to various diseases and conditions, making the kit a valuable marker for studying these conditions and exploring potential treatment options.

The kit has a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a working range of 0.313-20 ng/mL, and should be stored at 4°C for 6 months. It is intended for research use only. Recovery testing in spiked matrices showed average recoveries of 96% in serum (range 85-104%), 97% in EDTA plasma (range 91-102%), and 96% in UFH plasma (range 90-104%). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 serial dilutions was demonstrated in serum (87-99%, 85-100%, 86-105%), EDTA plasma (82-94%, 82-90%, 82-98%), and UFH plasma (82-100%, 82-100%, 80-99%). Precision is reported as intra-assay CV <8% and inter-assay CV <10%.
