Rat Beta-1 adrenergic receptor (Adrb1) ELISA Kit

Spiked recovery is reported at an average of 83% (range 80-89) for serum and 85% (range 80-91) for plasma, and linearity has been demonstrated across serial dilutions of serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Beta-adrenergic receptors mediate the catecholamine-induced activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins, with this receptor binding epinephrine and norepinephrine with approximately equal affinity and mediating Ras activation through G(s)-alpha- and cAMP-mediated signalling. The protein is localised to the plasma membrane as a multi-pass membrane protein and is also reported in early endosome and Golgi compartments, with the indicated research area being cardiovascular.
