Rat Basigin/Emmprin/CD147 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative measurement of rat Basigin (also known as EMMPRIN or CD147) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a colorimetric readout, and absorbance is measured at 450 nm following TMB substrate development.

Performance specifications include a detection sensitivity of 46.875 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 78.125–5000 pg/mL. Target synonyms include Bsg, Glycoprotein CE9, and OX-47 antigen (UniProt P26453). The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for up to 12 months. Reported recovery values are 85–99% (average 90%) for serum, 92–105% (average 98%) for EDTA plasma, and 93–101% (average 97%) for heparin plasma. The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and the pre-coated plate to room temperature, loading standards and samples, incubating at 37°C to allow antigen binding, adding a biotin-labelled detection antibody and an HRP-streptavidin conjugate, developing with TMB substrate in the dark, and reading absorbance immediately after adding stop solution.
