BAFF (CD257), also known as BLyS and TNFSF13B, is a TNF-family cytokine that drives B-cell maturation, survival, and immunoglobulin class-switch recombination through the receptors BAFF-R, TACI, and BCMA. It is widely investigated in rat models of autoimmune disease, including systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, and Sjögren's syndrome, as well as in transplant immunology and chronic inflammation research. This Assay Genie kit is supplied as a microtitre plate with pre-coated capture antibody, lyophilised standards, biotinylated detection reagent, and streptavidin-HRP working solution for quantitative measurement of endogenous BAFF in rat biological samples including tissue culture supernatants. Reported detection range: 15.6 to 1000 pg/mL. Sensitivity: 5.6 pg/mL. Recommended sample volume: 50 µL per well. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
