Rat Atp5b/ATP synthase subunit beta ELISA Kit

A sandwich (double antibody) ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of rat Atp5b (ATP synthase subunit beta) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a colorimetric HRP–TMB format with absorbance measured at 450 nm. ATP5B is a key component of the ATP synthase complex, playing a crucial role in cellular energy production through ATP synthesis, and its dysregulation has been implicated in mitochondrial dysfunction, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic disorders.

The kit has a reported sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a measuring range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 85–103%, 89–97% and 91–99% for serum (n=5); 82–101%, 89–101% and 84–94% for EDTA plasma (n=5); and 84–96%, 85–100% and 82–98% for heparin plasma (n=5). Spike-recovery averages are 96% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma and 95% for heparin plasma. Components should be stored at 2–8 °C.

Kit contents include a dismountable pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (100X), TMB substrate, sample/antibody/SABC dilution buffers, stop solution, wash buffer (25X), plate sealer, technical manual, and a Bradford Reagent for optional total protein quantification and sample normalization.
