Rat Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST) ELISA Kit

Built around the GOT1 isoform (cytoplasmic aspartate aminotransferase, Uniprot P13221), this Assay Genie kit delivers validated performance for translational research applications. The internal recovery is 80-102% in serum, 81-99% in EDTA plasma, and 80-89% in heparin plasma, with linearity maintained at 82-96% (1:2), 83-98% (1:4), 81-99% (1:8), and 93-101% (1:16) across spike-and-dilution series. Intra-assay CV is below 10% and inter-assay CV is below 12% across three control levels. The protocol shows no significant cross-reactivity with rat AST analogues, supporting specific detection of the target enzyme. The kit carries a 12-month shelf life when stored as supplied, and the complete procedure follows a 100 uL sample load, two-hour incubation at 37 degrees C, sequential biotinylated antibody and HRP-streptavidin conjugate steps, TMB development, and a 50 uL stop read at 450 nm.
